Due to popular request, here is a written/typed version for those that have trouble following video instructions and rather written/typed notes. The notes may not be very detailed compared to the video tutorial, but should give you enough information to construct the mask.

Construction Notes for Conventional
Filter Lining (Option 1) Above picture only!!
I have only made a tutorial on this mask using the Conventional Filter Lining because it was the most popular filter option used. If you want to use the Reverse Filter Lining, the option is on the pattern. You will have to look up either the Cover Mask Option 2 Tutorial/Construction Notes or the Basic 1 Piece Mask Option 2 Tutorial/Construction Notes.
Before we start, please note:
Pre-wash all fabrics and pre-treat all interfacing if you decide to use any.
Always back stitch the beginning of the stitching and end of the stitching. I will not be prompting you on this.
Main fabric is the outer layer. Usually with a chosen pattern.
Lining fabric is the layer behind the main fabric. Usually the 2nd or middle layer.
The Filter Lining slot is usually the 3rd layer.
Either next to the mouth or the layer that keeps the replacement filter in the mask.
Please do not be afraid of the amount of pages I’ve used to construct this mask. I like to show every step to make sure even a beginner can follow. I am very thorough with my notes.
Be sure to follow or subscribe to ShannieMakes on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube Channel for updates. Facebook is probably easier for me to update everyone since I can add links and folders in there.
Hope this helps?
See you in my next blog.

Disclaimer/Please take note: My face masks do not replace medical/surgical face masks. These are also not designed to be used on babies or toddlers. Supervision is a must on small children. These are face masks with basic filtration. It is good for dust particles and maybe blocking out some odours.
